People with no credit history are stuck with secured credit cards. They don’t have the luxury of the low rate credit cards. It is the good credit score of the people that allows them to explore the available credit cards for good credit. Following are the different types of credit cards for good credit.


  • Standard Credit Cards: These are the most common credit cards available from most of the banks and credit card providers. You don’t have to feed these cards with a security deposit. There are two types of credit cards for good credit that fall under the standard credit cards.

  • Balance Transfer Credit Cards: These credit cards allow you to transfer your balance from a high interest credit card to a low interest credit card.


  • Low Interest Credit Cards: Low interest credit cards are those cards that offer low introductory APR. These cards are useful when consumers need to make a large purchase as these cards offer the payoff range from several months to years. 


  • Rewards Credit Cards: Cardholders earn a certain amount of incentive with a swipe of the card. Cardholders can, later on, redeem those incentive points for various rewards. The three types of credit cards for good credit that fall under Rewards Credit Cards.


  • Cash back Credit Cards: Everything is in their name. The cash back credit cards allow you to earn cash rewards on every purchase you make through the card.


  • Reward Points Credit Cards: Instead of direct cash, you earn points which you can accumulate in several transactions and redeem that later.


  • Travel and hotel Credit Cards: These cards specifically give you discounts on your travel and hotel bookings. You earn points for your travel and hotel booking transactions.


Then there are Airline and Frequent Flyer Credit Cards that allow you to directly redeem the points for aeroplane tickets, which is beneficial for the frequent travellers. You earn the credits in the form of air miles.
